We are trying to implement a project with Vivado 2013.2 ... we have completely failed to find any way to integrate a DDS into the design.
Has anyone had any experience using the DDS coregen in Vivado 2013.2 ? ... and if you have how did you get it working?
THe problem seems to be in finding the right way to drive the DDS over AXIS . There is only one mention of using the AXI fifo Ip core to do this -- it gooks up OM and the project builds -- but it doesn't work -- various errors from just hanging when accessing it to simply not working (no active output from the DDS in streaming of programmable phase).
We have no problems with GPIO driven peripherals or getting an output from the DDS in non-programmable modes... so the problem appears to be in driving it through the AXI.
