Hi,
I'm currently trying to do the tutorial for "FMC-IMAGEON Building a Video Design from Scratch Tutorial" (version 1.3 from january 3. 2013) with ISE Design Suite 14.7 using a ZedBoard and the FMC-IMAGEON HDMI I/O-Module. Everything seems to be on schedule, and part one (implementing the pass-through) builds and runs, except for that the screen stays black. The information Putty shows me is as following:
"Press ENTER to re-start ...
Waiting for ADV7611 to locked on incoming video ...
ADV7611 Video Input LOCKED
ADV7611 Video Input Information
Video Input = HDMI, Progressive
Color Depth = 8 bits per channel
HSYNC Timing = hav=1920, hfp=88, hsw=44(hsp=1), hbp=148
VSYNC Timing = vav=1080, vfp=04, vsw=05(vsp=1), vbp=036
Video Dimensions = 1920 x 1080
ADV7511 Video Output Information
Video Output = DVI, Progressive
Color Depth = 8 bits per channel
HSYNC Timing = hav=1920, hfp=88, hsw=44(hsp=1), hbp=148
VSYNC Timing = vav=1080, vfp=04, vsw=05(vsp=1), vbp=036
Video Dimensions = 1920 x 1080
HDMI Output Initialization ...
Done"
I should mention that I'm using a GoPro Hero 3 Black video camera that is set to stream 1080p60 to my HP LP2475w monitor using HDMI cables. No matter if i connect to the monitor using DVI, the message in the terminal window looks the same, and the screen stays black. I've also tied to use 720p60, but same message, black screen. I've searched through your forums and others forums, without any results. I've read it can have with the HDCP to do, but I don't think the GoPro has HDCP encryption/handshakes.
I've tried to do the tutorial in Vivado as well, but that didn't complete (I used vivado 2014.2). => If a solution is easier to achieve here, please let me know.
In other words; how can I get the HDMI-passthrough to work properly?
