Hi,

I'm following the official tutorial of ZedBoard CTT, Vivado 2014.2, on a D board and the Vivado 2014.3.1 and I have a problem with the lab 5.4.1. that I cannot ping other PC with eth0. I do ifconfig eth0 down/up but ping still lost. Somebody can help me?

Make sure you have a direct Ethernet connection between your ZedBoard and your host PC. Per the instructions on page 73 of the ZedBoard CTT, Vivado 2014.2, make sure the Ethernet port on your host PC is set to a static IP address of 192.168.1.1 and that you have turned off any wireless Ethernet adapter on the host PC.

If this has been set up as directed by the tutorial instructions and you are still unable to ping successfully you might try booting your ZedBoard from the Out of Box Linux and trying setup and ping in the same manner to rule out an error in building your Linux project.

    Thanks Gary.

My host PC and the ZedBoard are connected with a switch, both are configured by static IPs. In the lab 5.4.1, when use the standard Zedboard platform in SDK, the ping works well. But when use PL design of 5.4.1, the ping cannot work. So if the device-tree have to be regenerated?
