ZedBoard not booting, u-boot file is corrupted

My ZedBoard will not boot from the SD card. It was able to boot in the past, so I know I have the right jumper configurations. I looked at the SD card, and the U-boot is corrupted. I have tried to install a new u-boot file using the out-of-box demo zip file posted on Digilent. It led me here. However, I am still having trouble installing a new U-boot file. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems https://digilent.com/reference/_media/zedboard/zedboard_oob_design.zip has what you need. Just make sure to read the README in sd_image.

I don't have ZedBoard to test it.

I have followed all the steps in the README and it is still not working. The blue, done (LD12) light never turns on and there is no activity in the serial monitor. The serial monitor connects but it is just a frozen cursor.

If you have replaced u-boot corrupted file, then the issue should be somewhere else. Have you tried different SD card? If you are on Windows, there is a tool to format SD Cards you can download. If on Linux, you can use tool like GParted.

To boot from SD Card:

What OS do you use?

How did you know the u-boot was corrupted?
