Not able to install com port drivers on HP ZBook (Xeon) running Win 10 Pro with plenty of memory, disk, ports.

I'm not getting the software installed, although it downloaded and appeared to run (instantly), but when I open device manager, the only com ports are over bluetooth. The installer welcomes me, unzips the drivers, says I can now connect my device to the computer, and shows driver names FTDI CDM Driver Packa... (twice) with green check marks to the left. The only problem is that I can't find these devices anywhere. Other Devices shows a BASE System Device, which is probably my docking station.

Would appreciate any help

    Hi Doctor,

On thing I'd double check is the ZUBOARD is powered on. The board only enumerated the COM port after your board is powered on due to the 5V powering that circuit coming from the on board 5V regulator, not the 5V coming off the USB.

The bottom right SW7 push buttom controls the on/off functionality of the board. You will see green led lights on when the board is powered up.
