Windows PC does not recognize the USB link when JTAG/UART is plugged in

So far I have tried all 5/6 USB ports of my PC, it simply does not seen to recognize the board. Tried both SD and JTAG boot modes. What else can I do to get this going?

I never had this kind of issues with other Dev kits like ZCU 102/ ZCU 106 / Kria devkit. Is there a way to list all the USB devices on windows that shows VID/PIDs - kind of like lsusb on Linux?

I do have a Ubuntu VM running on windows but without picking the USB device in bridge mode, it will be just useless to get it recognized under the VM.

You need 15V/3A supply. 5V supply will not work.

On my Linux box, it's different than my PCB. I use GTKTERM and look for the available USB port there in the port settings. On my Windows laptop, Device Manager shows available COM ports.

Looking at the ZUBoard schematic for the JTAG/UART, you will need to power the board in order for your board to be recognized. The FTDI device is not powered by USB, it's powered by on-board regulators.

I do have power going into the board from the same PC thru the USB-C. Is there a minimum amp requirement? I just tried hooked it up to a Dell Laptop running windows - no bueno.

Thank you, I got past that after buying the PSU on the Avnet's zub1cg product page. I wish it was explicitly mentioned on that page so users don't have to struggle.
