You are a lifesaver. When my device stopped working, I got really frustrated and was about to throw it away. Then I saw this post. Then I gave my azure sphere to a mobile service center where they had some equipment (they called it blower) through which they removed this U5 component. I bought an adjustable buck converter and connected its input side to 5V and GND on the azure sphere. Then I set the output to 3.3V via the potentiometer on it. Then connected it to the 3.3V and GND on the azure sphere. I did exactly like what you said and now it's working like a charm.[View:/resized-image/__size/620x465/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-33023142-bf71-43a6-a004-9bfd0f0e2182/6835.contentimage_5F00_204939.jpg:620:465]

RE: Guide to solving SDK Installation Errors and U5 regulator component damage!

Thank You!
