Monarch Go network registration/scan issue

Hi there

 

I have a Monarch Go, connected as a modem via USB to a PC.  I have working AT commands.

 

It was supplied with a Verizon sim card, which I cannot activate as I am in the UK.  I have replaced the Verizon sim with a UK working unlocked sim.  With neither the Verizon or EE sim I cannot obtain any network registration.  2G, 3G and 4GLTE are available here. AT+COPS seems to be set to automatic, so I believe should just utilise whatever network is available.

 

Couple of questions:

 

1. Is the Monarch Go set up for/locked to Verizon in some way, and how do I unlock this with AT commands?

2. What do the jumpers on the Monarch Go do?

3. Should AT+SQNINS (network scan) work without a sim card?

    Sorry i missed this post.

     

     

    1. Is the Monarch Go set up for/locked to Verizon in some way, and how do I unlock this with AT commands?

              It requries AT commands to retarget to another network. You will also need that carriers Sim card to put in. Do you have the AT command reference manual from Sequans? It should

    You will need to use for example to retarget to Orange network AT+SQNCTM="orange" Please see the Monarch Module Use Cases with AT Commands manual from Sequans.

              What kit did you buy? There are a few kits out there. Each should have  a reference manual available for it.

     

    3. I don't know off the top of my head.
