I'm not sure if it were intended but your username is showing up with your email address for those not logged in.

I used my email address as login name. Is that not good practice or do you mean something else.

I you have no issue with the world seeing your email address, then I guess it is not an issue.  Typically, a username would be used and the email would be used to tie the account to.

Look at your posts without being logged into the element14 site and see what I am referring to.

I downloaded all the packages, with none of them was i able to install (ref 5.)

What error are you seeing when you run the commands?

Also, what are the .deb files names you have that you are trying to install?

It might be helpful to provide the exact command string you are using to install these files.

Used:

SW282816 Neard EXPLORE-NFC Dev â?? Using NeardAL with EXPLORE-NFC. (.zip)  

.zip contains:

>> libneardal-dev_0.14.3-1_armhf.deb

>>neard-explorenfc_1.2.orig.tar.gz

>> neard-explorenfc_1.2-1.debian.tar.xz

.zip does not contain (ref AN11480 4.3):

>>libneardal0_<version>_armhf.deb

>> neardexplorenfc_<version>_armhf.deb

When install:

>> libneardal-dev_0.14.3-1_armhf.deb

it asked for libneardal0_<version>_armhf.deb which is not available

What command line string are you using to get the error?

Looks like you may have to uncompress the neard-explorenfc_1.2-1.debian.tar.xz and the neard-explorenfc_1.2.orig.tar.gz files further.

From what I can gather, your command line string should look like:

sudo dpkg -i libneardal-dev_0.14.3-1_armhf.deb   neard-explorenfc_1.2_armhf.deb

That is if neard-explorenfc_1.2-1_armhf.deb is in either neard-explorenfc compressed file.

Also, you need to be in the directory where you unzipped the files when you run the command.

I know what your saying but i did all that. Untarren etc, files are not available.

If you are unwilling to provide the exact command line string your are typing to reach this error, then it would be nearly impossible to help you find a solution.

My recommendation is for you to provide either a screen shot or a copy-paste of the command your are typing and error you are seeing as well as post the output of 'ls' from the directory where you uncompressed the files.
