Here is a project created to interface Xtrinsic sensor and Bluetooth module HC-05 to KL46Z freedom board and display the sensor data on android app “Blue Term”
The Block diagram of this setup is as shown below
Android phone communicated to the MCU through Bluetooth module and initiates the xtrinsic sensor and according to the user command sent via BT terminal (i.e accelerometer, magnetometer, pressure and temperature) the sensor data is received via I2C communication at controller side and same will be sent to android app
First download the app “Blue Term” from google play store and install it.
Flash the "KL46-blue+Xtrinsic.srec" file to the KL46 board
Connect the Bluetooth module HC-05 to the board header as shown below:
Connect the xtrinsic sensor board to the KL46 board as shown below:
Power on the board and perform the below steps on your android phone:
1) Open the Blue term app from the mobile as shown below:
2) Connect the blue term with the HC-05 BT device as shown below:
3) Type a command to execute and get the sensor data
The commands to be given are shown below:
1) “BT1 accel”
2) “BT1 mag”
3) “BT1 press”
4) “BT1 help”
