With its PC application, it can be used to monitor power consumption of USB devices, ambient temperature variation and external voltage, as well as to measure values for through-hole resistors and capacitors. It also includes an EEPROM, a GPIO expander and a PIC16F1509 pre-programmed microcontroller which can be configured to alert the user in case of specific event types, such as temperature exceeding a certain value.&lt;/span&gt;

    &lt;span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;"&gt;The MCP2221 I2C Demo Board creates a USB-to-I2C/UART/RS232 communication bridge between the PC and different devices. With its PC application, it can be used to monitor power consumption of USB devices, ambient temperature variation and external voltage, as well as to measure values for through-hole resistors and capacitors. It also includes an EEPROM, a GPIO expander and a PIC16F1509 pre-programmed microcontroller which can be configured to alert the user in case of specific event types, such as temperature exceeding a certain value.&lt;/span&gt;

    &lt;span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10pt;"&gt;The MCP2221 I2C Demo Board creates a USB-to-I2C/UART/RS232 communication bridge between the PC and different devices. With its PC application, it can be used to monitor power consumption of USB devices, ambient temperature variation and external voltage, as well as to measure values for through-hole resistors and capacitors. It also includes an EEPROM, a GPIO expander and a PIC16F1509 pre-programmed microcontroller which can be configured to alert the user in case of specific event types, such as temperature exceeding a certain value.&lt;/span&gt;
