It enables realization of energy harvesting wireless switches for Enocean systems communicating based on 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 radio standard. It is mechanically compatible with established PTM21x form factor enabling quick integration into a wide range of designs. Key applications are wall mounted or portable switches either with up to 2 rockers or up to 4 push buttons. It contains an electro-dynamic energy transducer actuated by a bow which can be pushed from outside the module on left or right by an appropriate pushbutton or switch rocker. When energy bow is pushed down, electrical energy is created and 2.4GHz radio telegram according to IEEE 802.15.4 is transmitted. This radio telegram transmits operating status of all 4 contact nipples at moment when energy bow was pushed down.
