It is a consolidation, to make information relevant to FRDM boards and mbed available at one convenient location.Note 2: February

RE: Working with FRDM Boards and ARM mbed

Hi Shabaz,

Thanks for updating... Nice overview and your post got me interested in mbed. Are there code size limitations or file size limitations or things like that with mbed? I would suppose not with the GCC compiler but what about Keil? Also will the RTOS work with GCC?

Frank

RE: Working with FRDM Boards and ARM mbed

Great article.

RE: Working with FRDM Boards and ARM mbed

BTW, [mention:b0bc65b9ecdc4307bd967592f00e340a:e9ed411860ed4f2ba0265705b8793d05] , this was a great post. I was actually involved in doing the first port of the KL46 for mbed. I had really liked the FRDM boards, I have multiples of about 5 different flavors. I wish I had the time to do more with them. Instead I keep getting new boards and learning about them. One day I'll sit down and build Skynet or something.

Mike

RE: Working with FRDM Boards and ARM mbed

Very good post.

DAB

RE: Working with FRDM Boards and ARM mbed

They are a great set of boards.

The pricing is cheap enough to use as production.

Aligning with Arduino is a sensible idea, but unlike Arduino there is little infrastructure to utilise the double rows.

This means that you're only using a subset of the availability.

Time for me to start using mine more.

Cheers

Mark
