Feedback requested for VisualPRU: Browser-based Editor and Debugger for the BBB PRUs

Hi All!

 

I recently made a tool to make programming the BeagleBone Black PRUs a little easier. It's a browser-based editor and debugging tool which is designed to be easier-to-use than the current options. I have a few ideas for next steps(setting breakpoints, modifying memory registers, viewing chunks in DDR RAM, leading pre-built libraries, etc..).

It's still in the early stages. Right now, I'm mainly looking for feedback from PRU users... suggestions for improvements, feature requests, issues you've encountered, or if you'd even use a tool like this.

    This is exactly what we need at the moment, I followed all steps and got the PRU connected, load a .p file and click Save&Compile, nothing happens but a flash on screen. The console that runs python script does say COMPILE, waiting to receive. And I have nothing showing on the right side of the web page for compilation output. Any idea?
