HI Joshu and all, is there a way to clock the maaxboard at a lower frequency? We are running into some heat issues and was wondering what the options are? Thank you very much

Hello, The i.MX 8M device on the MaaXBoard can produce quite a bit of heat when in use. Here are a couple of options Options 1. Develop a custom more efficient passive heat sink - Avnet offers design services in this area 2. Add on a fan, the 40 pin header on board provides a 5V/3V power source, in addition there are mounting holes on top of the default heatsink that comes with the board to mount a 25mm fan 3.
