What add-on boards or capes would you find useful for the BeagleBone boards?

Whether it's the PocketBeagle, BeagleBone Black, Blue or Industrial - what add-on boards would you find useful to make your project that little bit easier?

While the Beagleboard range is open source allowing you to create projects from scratch and embed them fully in your project, sometimes you just want a bit of plug-and-play to get started, or to take away the effort of getting started.

There are a number of capes available already, though their number appears to be dwindling https://beagleboard.org/capes

So what would you like to see?

Hi! A wireless cape for PocketBeagle would be nice : ) (At a minimum BLE, but ideally BLE+WiFi).

A revised PRU cape with more useful hardware than the first version, and a comprehensive linux example for it.

For a BeagleBone Black or Wireless, an LCD from 4D Systems and/or a Robotics Cape from Renaissance Robotics are quite useful,

Yes. I have that one - bought it to learn how to use the real-time unit in linux. The thing is that the examples are bare metal - no linux.

The BB site says (said? - I haven't checked since a year) further examples would be built but I haven't found any activity related to it.

Maybe a cape that provides analog inputs, excitation & signal conditioning for low level bridge sensors and an extra mSd card for data acquisition.

Incidentally, the Newark store has about a dozen capes available:

A cape for WiFi and luetooth5 +ble will be awesome as they lack in pocketbeagle.

Also the robotic cape is good, ut they just need to upgrade it with some new sensors..

Like the BME 280 has come, so humidity measurement can also be possible and even bme680 or something which can measure lot more things, and for tobotic purposes that can be really helpful. Also, magnetometer/compass for direction or magnetic line following can be useful.
