Hi Sagar - this is great, and I am anxiously awaiting the next installment which will tell us how to actually write our first app! Any idea when this will be?

Hello, I applied this tutoriel literally and my Riotboard does not still appear in "Devices" while it is installed and recognized by Windows (USB debug is enabled)

Would have you an idea??

Any tips on using JNI here on this board. I am planning to buy this board, just thought to ask the experts here.

How about getting root access to the board?

I just want to test several devices, but:

"adb shell dmesg"

gives me:

klogctl: Operation not permitted.

Any idea how to get root access?

After re-flashing my board, I noticed I didn't have a "Developer Options" option. Turns out you may have to enable it:

From How to enable developer settings on Android 4.2 | Android Central

Go to the settings menu, and scroll down to "About phone." Tap it.
Scroll down to the bottom again, where you see "Build number." (Your build number may vary from ours here.)
Tap it seven (7) times. After the third tap, you'll see a playful dialog that says you're four taps away from being a developer. (If only it were that simple, eh?) Keep on tapping, and *poof*, you've got the developer settings back.
