I was hoping you could comment on how easy/difficult it would be to port apps from the RIoTBoard to other Android devices. Are there any special libraries you need for it, or does it run stock Android relatively faithfully?

RE: Part 3: Build an Android App on the RIoTBoard

Thanks for the tutorial! I have the tools installed and my RIoT board is connected and online but when I try to Run -> RunAs -> Android Application nothing happens. Several of the screenshots in this blog are not showing up for me so I am wondering if I do not have my app setup correctly.

RE: Part 3: Build an Android App on the RIoTBoard

Hi Sagar,

Thanks for the part 3. Really helpful.

Hit a small roadblock. My RIoT board appears "offline" in the ADT under "Devices" tab. I have tried updating the ADB, re-installed USB drivers, double checked developer options, allow 3rd party apps..but without any success. Anything else I can try to transfer the app to the board? Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ashok R.
