sabre-lite conforms to Sabre smart devices or Sabre Auto-infotainment?

Hello there!

I have downloaded sources , images schematics and tools from freescale website. @address:

There seem to be 2 boards: SabreSD (smart device) and SabreAI (automotive-infotainment)

Which one should I use when i'll be setting up my linux host environment?

  • Neither, most likely.  The Sabre-Lite is the small development board, the two reference designs you mention are different designs and have different hardware and/or interfaces on them.

     

    The smart devices board can be found here 22531792253179 which as you can see from the photo is very different to the sabre-lite.

     

    The actual MX6 on my sabre-lite board is an automotive variant, but that probably makes little difference if the external hardware isn't present
