I've noticed on some data sheet drawings that the projection angle isn't given. Is there any way to contact Multicomp?
I don't seem to be able to find anything on them.
Cheers

Usually it is clear from context (and often the different projections are not laid out as expected on a tech drawing, probably for clarity on an A4 or letter sized page and instead just in a vertical arrangement for all views) but otherwise third angle is always presumed. Not sure I've seen a first angle projection in >10 years. But to be 100% sure I often wait till I have the part in my hand.
It was particularly with the Peltier element I'm working with (part number 1639732). I ended giving it a bit of controlled power to sort it out. After a bit of googling it turns out that the diagram is in fact 1st Angle projection (left side view to the right).
Like you Shabaz I usually tend to the 3rd angle but I've been caught out with Peltier drawings before
Seems silly that the batch number can be printed on the element but why not a hot or cold symbol.
