I don't understand why this article has an E14 header - is it an official E14 document ?

if it is an E14 document it should be withdrawn because it is full of errors. For illustration I'll pick just two:

There are two common types of accelerometer, the seismic mass type and the piezoelectric accelerometer. The seismic mass type accelerometer is based on the relative motion between a mass and the supporting structure. The natural frequency of the seismic mass limits its use to low to medium frequency applications. The piezoelectric accelerometer, however, is compact and more suitable for high frequency applications.

This is nonsense  - piezo electric accelerometers use a seismic mass - there is a nice diagram here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piezoelectric_accelerometer

    From the touch sensor section:

Resistive is one of the major touch screen technologies used. Resistive technology is employed in wide range of applications such as Smartphone, .....

Once again, this is just wrong (Smartphones use capacitive touchscreens) , there is  a decent Wiki on this too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Touchscreen
