Place a Microstrip coupled-line filter in my board

Hi everyone,

 

I need to place a Microstrip coupled-line filter I have designed using

Agilent Advance Design System A2005 (ADS), in a board I have designed with

Eagle5.3.0 pro.

 

I have read in other post about export bmp files to Eagle, but ADS doesn't

let me to have this file format for my filter.

Any idea on how to export an ADS filter to a Eagle project?

    Provided that the geometry isn't too complex, I would simply note the

    coordinates (I assume ADS can provide them in numerical form anyhow) and

    then redraw the design in EAGLE with polygons (taking care of the width,

    of course).

    With numerical coordinate entry at EAGLE's command line this is very

    straightforward and comfortable - once you've got used to it. image

  • ADS interfaces to Cadence and Mentor thru an IFF file. This is an ASCII file

    format. You can get more info fo it on the Agilent web site.
