You don't need gerber for toner transfer. eagle is wysiwyg. Just select

your layer, pads and vias and print it on normal paper for a test. If

that suits you print it on your transfer surface.

A good bet would be to use PostScript - PS or PS_INVERT, depending on

the polarity of your photoresist.

There are many Postscript viewers - Okular is just one, ghostscript is

another. Most printers understand Postscript, so you should be able to

send it directly to your printer.

Use nets, not wires for connections.

See that the pins are on grid, set to 100 mils as a standard in schematics.

Make sure that nets are connected to devices.

You can check that by moving the devices and all the nets must follow.
