Out of interest which version of Eagle are you using?

Currently I would expect any number of stange occurances with v6. Some due

to v6 current state and others due to the ULPs , written for an earlier

version, tripping up in v6.

So far, so good. I don't know what you mean exactly by "pin

information". Do you mean the "direction information"- that can be made

visible switching on the pin layer 93 (display).

If you mean the pin name and /or the pad number then you must edit the

symbol of the device in the library by using CHANGE VISIBLE and select

no/pin/pad/both and apply that on every pin you want to change.

Since one uses it usually equal for all pins, you group all the pins first.

According the description the ulp does what I do with a few mouse

clicks, so I don't use this ulp.

If you want to add just a few devices to a target library just open that

one, go into the control panel (cp), select the devices and right-click

one by one for a dialog to "copy into the (open) library" (lib).

Same goes if you make both windows visible (cp & targetlibrary) and just

drag & drop the device from cp to lib.

If the amount is larger like merging two libraries, open the source

library and export the whole lib as a script file:" data /export /script

(filename)". Then open the target lib:"data /execute script (filename of

the former scipt)" and the the contents of the other lib is imported.

No sweat but try this with copies and a new testlibrary first.
