Hello, I'm new to using Eagle. I am attempting to make my own library before I can start.
My goal is to have power ratings, tolerances, voltage ratings, etc. communicated on my schematics when it is necessary. I used to do this in Altium and it was very helpful. If these properties could be generated with the BOM too, that would be even better.
I see that I can add layers, and I was thinking I could make a resistor library with a tolerance layer, for example.
Is this a feasible and flexible way to do it? I don't want to go down the wrong road and then realize I have to redo everything as I so often am used to happening with CAD programs.
