Newbie question about separate power pins in libraries ?

Hi,

I'm trying to use a part in the Maxim library. But it shows the power pins as separate items, not connected to the main part. When I add the part to my schematic, I don't get the power pins ?

How do I connect the power ?

I searched the forum for "separate power connections eagle library part" but got nothing....
