Color Coded Signals

Hi,

 

It would be much better if EAGLE will have a function to change color of each signals in the layout. The user can easily identify the connected lines without using the "Show" command.

Can you please sight other advantage and disadvantage of this function?

    Hi,

     

    If you need a different color for each net, you will need a lot of colors: that would be great for painting a rainbow ....

    But maybe your suggestion could be great if we can group some net in color-coded categories. For example, if we want to separate supply, high speed data and analog, we create 3 groups, and we associate a color.

    But, the color would be useful for airwires only, because there is already a color associated to each copper layer.....
