Hello,
Unfortunately, whith the Eagle 7.3 relase, the "." is not recognized! So, if you want to place by exemple a part at the X;Y coordinates 20.10 ; 10.5 with the 7.3 relase => 20 ; 10 !!!
A patch will be essential!

Jean-Romain

Hi
For me it's working in the command line: (21.10 10.5) will place the part at the position X= 20.10 and Y= 10.5).
The only trouble I ran into is in the properties window (see post : http://www.element14.com/community/thread/43056/l/cant-type-dot-symbol-in-property-window), and on linux version (work fine on Windows). The workaround is to place first the part at a non integer position for X and Y, before opening the
properties window...
Is it your problem ? or a different one ?
Yess, It is my problem. I am on Windows 7 and I always use the properties window for place part.
So the bugg is disturbing....

Hi Jean,
It's been corrected in our next beta. The Locale settings play a role,
do to how different areas interpret the period. You can use Guillaume's
workaround or try setting your regional settings to US temporarily.
Again we will be releasing an update for this soon.

Jorge Garcia
It's strange because I don't have the problem on Windows 7 (at my office), but I have it on Linux (at home) ?!?
