Thanks for the replies. I REALLY appreciate them.

OK, Warren's comments did it. I have to blame this on every one of my

employee. (Yes, singular is intended.) Sorry, an inexperienced user's

brain lock. Though I turned layers on and off many times in the .brd, I

didn't think of doing that in the .lbr. DOH!

Thanks again for enlightening me, and I apologize for having wasted your

time.

This is a bit confusing to understand what you mean. If you say both

tkeepout and bkeepout are following the inductor when you move it, they

surely must have been drawn like that in the inductor library component?

t/bkeepout are independant layers, but they get swapped with the device

mirroring.

Open the ind package, make sure both t&bkeepout layers are enabled and

try to move one. They may have the same or similar color and fill

pattern when seen from the lib perspective.

Hi Dave

You may not be seeing what you think you are seeing. Is it really a

tKeepout? It is a different size to the bottom keepout.

Try a couple of things:

Clear the DRC errors

Type ERRORS CLEAR into the command line in the board editor.

Did it disappear?

Turn off the tKeepout layer in the board editor.

Did it disappear?

In the library turn on all layers.

Is it there?

That's all I have right now.

If you have a paid version of v6.5 you should upgrade to the last

version 6.6 here ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/eagle/program/
