Is Eagle or Pcad a better board design software?
P-Cad was a major player in PC based E-CAD before it was sold to Accel which eventually morphed into Altium.
I find Eagle to be much more productive than P-Cad. Altium is pretty good for productivity too but a bit more complex than Eagle.
It really boils down to the user's proficiency - it is usually more productive to stay with the one you already know.
For me, Eagle is easier to learn if you haven't already locked onto a different product.
