Any ideas ? I'm reading it now. My schematic opens in a program called PADS Designer, I don't see anything about (the referenced) PADS LOGIC

except a visual basic script in a folder called "unsupported" so I don't know yet if that is a legacy tool. So far I have not found anything that outputs

an ascii file with the obviously required information to reconstitute a schematic (symbols, connectivity, and graphic coordinates).

I don't have access to Altium Designer. I need to do this with Circuit Studio only. I'd like to show my employer how much better life could be with

Altium.

RE: convert Mentor Graphics (pads 2.2) to circuit studio schematic ???

Since, Altium Designer and CircuitStudio schematics are compatible, perhaps this link would help. Evidently, you will need access to PADS to export into a format that can be imported.

https://www.altium.com/solution/migrating-from-mentor-pads-to-altium-designer
