Waterproof mating connector for MRJ598001 Rugged RJ45 Jack

The MRJ598001 Rugged RJ45 Jack is a panel mount assembly that is rated IP67, but I can't find a mating solution (connector or cable assembly) that would allow me to use it in a waterproof application. Can you provide me links to possible solutions.

How does Tx Only Serial Communication Actually Work?

I have a YDLidar X2 device that I found doesn't actually have a Rx line. By design, it has no wire on the connector and doesn't expect any commands to be sent to it. It just continuously transfers out its packets representing the state of its sensor.

I hadn't realized it until today that every project I've ever done with serial was by me sending a command and awaiting a response. It was so intuitive, I never thought how the bits where banging.

So, my question is - does such a device that has no Rx line somehow fill a buffer and pause until bytes are read by the user or is it just pulsing and not caring what's happening on the line?

If it does pause, what gives the flag that it is good to continue?

If it does not pause, how in the world does the receiving device know how to sync up with the bits streaming?

Or, does serial protocol actually use the Tx line alone as a bus to talk back to coordinate the transfer of data from the transferring device? If not, I would think it would create nothing but garbage if it started listening at a random time.

How to do a Double Byte XOR Checksum?

I have a data packet that states its data validation (check code) is verified by a double byte XOR. I've Googled for a tutorial and came up empty. I've tried to solve the puzzle in Excel to never get a match to serial data I captured with Putty. I could use a tip on how the algorithm to apply.

The packet description is below. Starting at position 8, the two byte CS item contains the check code and states it uses a double-byte XOR to verify the current data packet. I've tried adding up all bytes starting at Si in series which equates to a two byte value. I XOR it against the CS value I've assed to be xC4AD, but that didn't resolve to 0.

Should I be XORing blocks of 2 bytes and comparing to the CS value?

CubeSat programme

Hello world

I'm a new in this platorm and I need help with a special school project.

I'm doing a CubeSat and I want to do it with a rasperry pi 3. I don't have any idea about how to programme these board for my pruposes, but I think in some options:

1- To do a Python OS (but I don't have any idea if that it's posible and how I can apply that to my rasperry pi if it's posible)

2- To do a C++ OS (but I have the same problem that the prevoius option)

It's necessary to say that I want to use Rasperry pi and arduino sensors and other stuff to make my satellite work

What am I supposed to do? Is there any other option?

Raspberry pi 2 is it worth it?

I Am in high school and I have a iPad and I am in need of some kind of computer I can type on a keyboard but I don't want to be out $500 at the same time so I was wondering if it would be worth my while to just buy a raspberry pi 2 and use it for typing essays andresearching along with some editing that I would do with my go pro. Is it worth it to me to get this raspberry pi 2?

Hi. Does anyone know whether or not there is a universal connection that all mobile phone cameras use. For example I am considering trying to build a superphone but don't know whether you can even connect a Nokia Lumia 1020 camera to a Nexus 5. Please Help.

I was just wandering how a Usb hub works?

Does it just miltyplex all the data lines into one or does it feed all the Hub points in as one big data line and just split them again when it is outputing?

I think the LC at the back end of the part number stands for less contacts, is possible?

Could you please confirm your part number for the pins?
Can we understand that your part number for the connector with pin included is MS3126F14-15S.MS3126F14-15S.?
