Does the CYBT-413061-02 module will support pairing with multiple devices simultaneously?

If it is possible, please provide some examples for how to store multiple paired device parameters in NVRAM.

It's happening when we tried to connect with new device without unpair the old device.(Again that old paired device is not getting connected)

You might need to troubleshoot further. From the screenshot it's not clear if this is an issue with the code on the PSoC or your setup on the PC. There's quite a few layers of interaction between the top-level Python code, down to the interaction with the microcontroller. If you're using code copied from that PDF, then it's a bit unreasonable to expect it to work without some changes, because the student will have just taken a snapshot of code for the purpose of completing the essay, and not necessarily at the same time for the different elements of that project.

As it is, it's impossible for anyone else to identify the problem for you without running the code themselves (which is a bit much to ask for - who is going to install all this on a PSoC and their PC? You need to troubleshoot further and narrow down the problem and point the reader to your theory of where the problem is, and where you need help.

Well, another one bytes the dust. As of today, Cypress Semiconductor Corp. is part of Infineon Technologies.

Say it isn't so. Looks like the chip company consolidation continues. I had seen multiple articles pop up stating that Infineon Technologies is in the process to take over Cypress Semiconductor for $10 billion US. Since Cypress is a US company and Infineon is not it will be interesting to see how this impacts any US companies that use Cypress products in their development. If it does happen, I do hope they keep Alan Hawse on board; his videos are quite entertaining.

While I have not used the PSoC parts for cap sensing, there are a lot of resources out there to do this kind of interface. One of the most challenging cap sense projects that I have worked on was on a medical device, that used three sensors, closely spaced around the tip of our device. The goal was to only allow the device to operate if all three of the contact sensors reported making skin contact. The cap sensing was performed with a very simple GPIO type approach using a simple PIC part ( see IoT Haunted Doorstep - Part 2 - Breadboard Basics for a very good explanation of the process). Tuning and performance for this application was critical as our product was using a very high power laser and FDA requirements made in necessary for us to provide a verifiable and proven technique that would not fire the laser, or stop the laser, if any of the three sensors reported a break in contact. The performance of the sensor was dependent on the series resistor values that we used, too high and sensing was slow, or too low and the contacts would not sense contacts at all.

Two PSoC 4 serial communication using putty

Hello everyone

I am using two PSoC 4 CY8CKIT-042 and some of the radiometeix RF elements such as NTX0 and NRX0. I’m using UART in both PSoC devices. I need both the boards to serially communicate and have to show result in Putty. Like if open two COM ports in putty, and type data from transmitter board it must be communicated in the receiver COM port in PUttY.

Can you kindly post post the entire workspace or project if anyone has done it please. It would be of great help.

I am using CY8KIT-042 Psoc 4 pioneer kit

and I have an assignment that i couldn't solve. I spent hours trying but without any result.

so the assignment is: I should make push button led cycle through blue red green white led and then repeat the cycle.

the second part i should make the led blinking and control it by the button so when I push it will blink and when I push agian it will turn the led off

please help me I am new to this. Thanks

I was able to modify it to get it to run on the CY8CKIT-059CY8CKIT-059 evaluation board

What I am having trouble with is getting 96kHZ sampling rate with 24bits.

Can somebody please help.

Hello ,

For the SD Card i need some data to store in it. I combined some programs ADC,RTC both are working but when i'm going to combine SD Card & BLE it is not working. I think programs are correct because they are working separately but problem in usage. Any body has any idea that how to combine clubbed RTC&ADC program with BLE & SD Card. If i'm combining them ti is not giving any bug & output also. Problem in usage.

Hello Arpita,

first of all I suggest you should stop attaching files to your posts that explicitly says security policy violation. Just only attach your material or non copyrighted non rights reserved material. Anyway the files will be blacked and can't be saw nor downloaded by us.

Second, as it is difficult for many users that can give you helpful advices to download you example and - supposing that they have the same environment you use - install the code or make same or similar tests, I suggest to past the code in the text, explain with as much details as possible your problems possibly with some images too then you will see that there are many other users that try to give you advices and suggestions.

Important: while posting the code, possibly just the essential parts of the sources generating the issues and - if any - also the produced compilation errors etc. don't forget to use the syntax highlighting for the code, to render it more readable and easy to focus and - eventually - copy and paste by other users. For syntax highlighting you find the option in the post and comments editor, take a look to the image below.

The only suggestion that I can give you at this point - it is only a sensation and can be totally wrong - is to check if the two hardware components (BLE and SD) are accessed both through the I2C protocol and - in this case - check if they are not erroneously sharing the same component ID. This maybe one of the possible cases sourcing your problems,
