Sanyo Denki San Ace 133W 9W2TJ Splash Proof Centrifugal Fans are IP68 rated for water and dust protection and offer a maximum airflow of 225CFM and 24V to 48V voltage range. These fans deliver an airflow of 6.39m³/min and a maximum static pressure of 395Pa.

With their robust stainless steel, brass or anodised aluminium housings, these innovatively designed switches are protected according to IK10 impact resistance and IP65/IP67 sealing requirements. The switches are available with momentary or maintained action, and with or without LED illumination. Choose from single or bi-colour LED’s and central dot or modern ring illumination.

Many HMI applications require status feedback to ensure that they function reliably or can be operated conveniently. For example, the user must be able to know at all times whether the machine or device is switched on or off. Such feedback is just as important in the food and beverage industry as it is with measurement machinery or medical devices. New EAO door-opener is ‘first choice’ for trains

EAO, the pioneer of illuminated pushbuttons, unveils the new Series 57 ‘all-in-one’ door-opening pushbutton, which is set to redefine the standard for passenger access.

Representing the latest in technology, the Series 57 is the first door-opening pushbutton to combine optical, tactile and acoustic features in a single, ground-breaking product.

Product Manager, Marco Bighi, says, “Our new Series 57 should be the first choice for any train operator to fully comply with EN 14752. EAO has a reputation for high-quality, innovative, passenger-access products, and now Series 57 will set a new standard.”

The modern design features a user friendly, extra-large operating area of Ø74mm, which includes two unique, independently-illuminated feedback rings. The raised symbols conform to TSI PRM* and ADA** and will never rub off or fade. Options include illuminated symbols and an integrated ‘finding tone’ to help visually-impaired passengers.

Offering outstanding durability, the Series 57 is built using contemporary materials and will continue working through extreme temperatures from – 40º to +85ºC. The front is protected to IP69K against liquid and dirt ingress and will resist chemical wash-downs.

To save time and cost, EAO has developed a smart, tool-less final-mounting system. The pushbutton fits industry-standard mounting holes so vehicle operators can easily upgrade their existing door openers to the new Series 57.

EAO, the expert partner for Human Machine Interfaces, has introduced a new PCB adapter for the Series 84 Emergency-stop button.

The adapter enables Series 84 Emergency-stop and Stop Switches to be mounted directly on the same circuit board as other Series 84 PCB products. This was previously not possible due to the different behind-panel mounting depths.

Product designers will find the adapter especially useful for compact control panels which must feature an Emergency-stop but are limited by behind-panel space.

The Series 84 PCB range comprises 22.5mm, PCB-mount switches, including a programmable pushbutton with multi-coloured ‘halo’ illumination. When combined, the range offers new possibilities for creating more innovative, reliable and intuitive control panels.

They are typically used for machinery, automation and process control equipment, as well as medical and instrumentation devices.

IoT enabled Sanyo Denki cooling fan controller allows prevenative maintenance and improves energy efficiency

The new 9CT1-U001 IoT enabled fan controller from Sanyo Denki can remotely monitor and record the status of up to four fans in a cooling system and can use its network of remote sensors to measure the enclosure's temperature, humidity, and air pressure whilst the accelerometer can monitor g-force in the system across 3 axes. These measurements, which can stored in the cloud can be used to optimise the thermal management of the cooling systems by remotely controlling the speed of the fans. The operating data recorded includes cumulative fan operating time, any alerts set by the system and the history of the data on temperature humidity and pressure measurements. This data can be used to prevent overheating problems in the equipment, and this can contribute to reduced maintenance costs, improved energy consumption and insight into the need for maintenance of the cooling system.

Sanyo Denki has introduced a new family the SF24 Series stepper motors that deliver 10% higher torque than currently available alternatives but produce 3dB(A) less noise with significantly reduced vibration and heat generation.

Improvements in motor efficiency has enabled manufacturer Sanyo Denki to boost the torque of its new Sanmotion SF24 Series of 42mm stepper motors by 10% compared to current equivalent sized alternatives but with 15% lower inertia. Together these benefits enable faster acceleration with reduced heat distortion, enabling ultra-precise equipment positioning.

The Sanyo Denki Sanmotion SF24 Series of stepper motors comprises four models each with a different motor depth, providing designers with a choice of holding torques ranging from 0.29Nm up to 0.8Nm, Single and dual shaft versions are available.
