The KN27 series was developed to replace traditional terminal blocks in LED lighting module applications.The design eliminates the need to screw down the connection and check for loosened terminal block screws, and offers a morereliable termination that reduces installation variation, time, and cost.

The connector series features a rugged 2-point contact design that provides a reliable connection. The connector has an internal guide system that makes cable insertion simple and user-friendly. A push-lever provides for easy cable extraction.

The space-saving design features a height of only 4.2mm, 3.9mm width and 11.85mm length (for single contact) all using a standard industry footprint.

Although the KN27 series is compact it offers a high current rating of up to 9A. It is available with 1 or 2 contacts and accepts 18 to 24AWG.

The connector meets halogen-free requirements and is RoHS compliant.

This is the new LED Lighting video from Hirose featuring wire to board and circular connectors. The product series are DF13, HR30, LF, DF3, DF11, DF22, DF57 and DF59. The video establishes exactly where Hirose's connector's can be utilised in LED lighting applications. The excellent features and benefits of secure locking mechanisms and smooth mating operation is demonstrated. Keep your eyes focused on the new multifunctional DF59 series, this is applicable for wire to board power supply connections and board to board ‘bridge’ connections. Only one type of receptacle is needed, irrespective of whether the cable plug or board mount plug is used, allowing a reduction in the number of components needed. In addition this connector has an excellent floating function which allows flexibility when designing in. Which products are of most interest to you?

Hello, the directional movement is X - axis direction + 0.5mm, Y - axis direction + 0.5mm, Z - axis direction + 0.5mm.

Farnell and FX10 Series

I'm having a lot of trouble to get a connector from FX10 Series, because Farnell doesn't have it.

The connector is FX10A-120S/12-SV(71).

Do you know where i can find it?

Will Farnell sell it someday?

It is great. Farnell is my first choice to buy when i need something else. In the meantime, getting some FX10A-120S/12-SV(71) and FX10A-120P/12-SV(71) samples would be great. I hope i may get some..

Hi,

Once i had requested FX10 series samples from Hirose. They forwarded me to a distributor and then to my local representer in my country. so i was asked about my project and detailed information about the company i was working. I gave what they needed. So, the result ? they told me that they only sent samples to the companies. For the individuals, try to buy from one of the sellers..... I just needed samples, not to buy.

Anyway, i requested samples from samtec and they sent me a few. From now and on, Samtec will be my first choice together with molex ( they are also very kind and fast for the samples ).

If you spend over £50 then shipping is free.......or if you are after very small quantities trying contacting Hirose or one of their main distributors directly and you should be able to get some samples (1-10) free of charge.....
