The GT32 series are shielded wire to board connectors designed to support USB 3.0 high speed transmission capability up to 5 Gbps. In addition, the connectors meet with automotive specification ensuring resistance to shock vibration, thermal shock, heat and sulphur dioxide.

The connector housings have a strong structure incorporating a robust positive lock. The lock provides a clear tactile click after mating to confirm the connector is fully engaged guaranteeing complete electrical and mechanical connection.

The contacts have a highly reliable unique 2-point contact structure. Each contact features a special protrusion which provides high contact forces and good wiping effects during the mating process. The contacts in the receptacle housing are set back to protect them from damage from misaligned mating or wrenching of the plug.

Suitable applications are automotive, railway systems, FA camera, servo amps and medical equipment.
