The popular transistor LNAs BFP 640(F), 720(F) and 740(F) are now also available as high-performance, ESD-robust devices. The BFP 640(F)ESD, 720(F)ESD and 740(F)ESD offer up to 2kV ESD protection (HBM). That makes them unique in the market with an excellent noise figure of 0.8dB at 5.5GHz combined with exceptional ESD robustness.

They also offer best-in-class gain and linearity. The footprint and size of the new ESD-enhanced transistors is the same as that of the existing LNAs. This makes it easy for customers to enhance the ESD robustness of existing circuits without needing additional (ESD protection) devices. So customers can now look forward to easier production handling and more cost-effective ESD protection designs!
