The internal switch is capable of driving a series of 1W LEDs with a 350mA typical output current. The ILD4035 offers a wide input voltage range (4.5V - 42V) and an adjustable output current via an external current sense resistor. With a multifunctional control pin, the IC can be switched on and off by an external signal that regulates the brightness of the LEDs by PWM or DC voltage dimming as well.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;&lt;span style="color:#000000;font-size:10pt;"&gt;The voltage ripple can be set depending on the value of the switching inductor. The precise internal bandgap stabilizes the circuit and provides stable LED current over the operating temperature range. &lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.infineon-designlink.com/images/article/article_0000094_s.jpg"&gt;&lt;img alt="Image" src="http://www.infineon-designlink.com/images/article/article_0000094_s.jpg" style="float:right;margin-left:20px;" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;With the introduction of the TLE 8209-2SA, we are addressing the growing need for H-bridges in powertrain applications.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;TLE 8209-2SA is targeted specifically at electronic throttle control systems but is also suitable for other DC motor applications like exhaust gas recirculation systems, variable valve controls and turbochargers featuring variable geometries.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;The new powertrain H-bridge comes in the well-established 430 mil power DS0-20 package. It contains all features required for safe operation even in harsh environmental conditions. These include Vdd monitoring for a safe switch-off path in case of Vdd loss or overvoltage&amp;nbsp; and 18V-tolerant I/Os for an increased level of safety and robustness. During extreme thermal conditions, for junction temperatures above 165°C, the temperature-dependent current reduction feature reduces the current automatically for added safety and reliability.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;The power MOSFETs of the output stages are optimized for low electromagnetic emission. Designers are also free to choose between two diferent slew rates. Internal breakdown voltage is 20V (BCR 320U) and 40V (BCR 420U). This is the maximum voltage that the LED driver IC can sustain when connected to it directly.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;The BCR 320U/BCR 420U can be operated at supply voltages above 20V and 40V respectively by simply stacking a series of LEDs in front of the LED driver IC, resulting in a certain voltage drop depending on the forward voltages of the LEDs. This brings the voltage at the supply pin of the driver IC down to a value below the maximum threshold.&lt;br /&gt;A digital input pin&amp;nbsp; (BCR 321U, BCR 421U) allows the LEDs to be dimmed via a microcontroller with frequencies up to 10 kHz. Hence, the microSD card has made its way into applications ranging from digital still cameras and MP3 players through GPS navigation devices to mobile phones.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;The microSD card interface is an expensive IC that requires protection. We have introduced a new device - the BGF 117 - that protects this interface from being destroyed by an electrostatic discharge (ESD) event and from malfunction caused by electromagnetic interference (EMI). The BGF 117 achieves this by combining high-level ESD protection devices with an EMI filter in one small device. Because the KP236 is a high-precision IC for cost critical solutions, the chip is packaged in a &amp;quot;green&amp;quot; low-cost SMD (surface-mounted device) PG-DSFO-8-16 housing. The sensor was developed for measurement of barometric air pressure (BAP).
