Ceramic capacitors lead times have currently very long lead times and none foresees an improvement in the near future.
When it comes to finding a suitable replacement there is no such thing as a "one size fits all" solution.
There are of course direct footprint considerations that allow the replacement part to fit on the board, but that is only the tip of the iceberg.
