Ceramic capacitors lead times have currently very long lead times and none foresees an improvement in the near future.

When it comes to finding a suitable replacement there is no such thing as a "one size fits all" solution.

There are of course direct footprint considerations that allow the replacement part to fit on the board, but that is only the tip of the iceberg.

Does the newcomer part fits its function in the application? Is it stable?

Do you experience issues in the design or redesign of your product?

Which technology did you use at the end? Where you satisfied about the end result?

Are you concerned about the ceramic or the tantalum supply chain?
