The long stroke B3AL switch is a two terminal device featuring a high operating force and long life durability.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://images.components.omron.eu/OCB/Products/Switches/Tactile%20Switches/Standard/B3AL/images/B3AL194x194.jpg"&gt;&lt;img alt="image" src="http://images.components.omron.eu/OCB/Products/Switches/Tactile%20Switches/Standard/B3AL/images/B3AL194x194.jpg"  /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;The vertically operated switch is notable for its enhanced resistance to dust penetration and a long operating life of up to 1million operation cycles which ensures long and reliable operation under extreme operating conditions. Available in four versions, with operating forces of 1.96N, 2.45N, 3.00N and 3.50N, the long stroke switch has a pretravel of 1.3mm which is achieved by using a rubber plunger.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;Featuring a compact design with dimensions of just 6.9mm x 6.0mm x 5.0mm (l x w x h) the B3AL is rated for switching currents of 1mA at 5VDC to a maximum of 50mA at 16VDC with a resistive load and features an insulation resistance of 100MΩ at 100VDC and a contact resistance of 100mΩ. &lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12pt;"&gt;OMRON release the XF3E, a 1.1 mm-high FPC (flexible printed circuit) connector with a pitch of 0.3 mm and 90 pins - the largest pin count of its kind - on July 30, 2010. FPC connectors are used in a wide range of digital devices, including smartphones, mobile phones, PCs, optical disk drives, and LCD projectors.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12pt;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Development Background&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:12pt;"&gt;&lt;p class="firstChild" style="margin:0;"&gt;With the recent increases in the amount of information transmitted within digital devices, demand is increasing for multipole FPC connectors. In particular, the incorporation of an increasing number of functions into touch panel-equipped mobile devices will increase signal lines, and this is expected to result in a growing need for connectors with higher pin counts.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="lastChild" style="margin:0;"&gt;Demand is growing for high pin-count FPC connectors that have low-profile configurations that cater to the trend toward smaller and slimmer devices, and those that feature highly impact-resistant backlock mechanisms that are better able to withstand use in mobile devices. This provides the option to be flexible in designs where highly sensitive analogue outputs are needed and thus achieve the best non-contact sensing solution.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p dir="ltr" style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p dir="ltr" style="margin:0;"&gt;The &lt;strong&gt;EE-SX 1131&lt;/strong&gt; has the same compact design as the &lt;strong&gt;EE-SX 1108&lt;/strong&gt; (only 5mm x 4mm x 4mm) however the detector side also contains a two-stage phototransistor. This makes it possible for use in differential position sensing applications, for example within an encoder.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p dir="ltr" style="margin:0;padding:0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p dir="ltr" style="margin:0;"&gt;For high frequency tracking applications where a digital output is needed, Omron offers the &lt;strong&gt;EE-SX 4134&lt;/strong&gt; Transmissive Photomicrosensor type. It features a Photo IC detector and has a wide operating supply voltage range from 2.2VDC - 7VDC.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p dir="ltr" style="margin:0;"&gt;All of the products fully meet the stringent reflow
