Panasonic has succeeded in commercializing “ High power & Anti-surge chip resistor / Double sided type (0805 inch size)”, suitable for protecting ECU used in vehicles and inverter circuits of a variety of units against ESD, and will start mass production.

With the increasing miniaturization of ECU and inverter circuits of a variety of units, chip resistors featuring excellent ESD properties with compact size and high power have been required for protecting against ESD. To answer the market needs, Industrial Devices Panasonic Corporation has succeeded in developing resistor-element with our original structure, materials, resistor-patterns, and commercializing the “high power & anti-surge chip resistor with 0805 size ”, featuring the highest rated power of 0.5 W in the industry.

Features

1. Compactness, high power, contributing to downsizing units

Dimensions : 2.00 mm × 1.25mm × H 0.65 mm

Rated power : 0.50 W with 0805 size ... highest in the industry two times higher compared with our current models

2. Excellent ESD properties, suppressing resistor deviation and protecting electric circuits

Deviation-factor of resistance value : within ± 5 %

Applications

ECU of vehicles, Inverter circuits used in a variety of units etc.
