They differ from ceramic capacitors in terms of structure, material, and basic principle. These capacitors are superior to ceramic capacitors in the following aspects: (1) large capacity, (2) stable temperature characteristics *1, (3) no need to take bias characteristics into consideration *1, and (4) no need for sound prevention measures *1. (*1: Ceramic capacitors exhibit inherent disadvantages)

Laser sensor for measuring velocity of very fast moving projectile

I am looking for laser sensor to measure velocity of fast moving bullet/projectile traveling through barrel.

I don't think it needs to be very specialist.

Alignment might be awkward. I've no idea how that's done in commercial systems, but there's probably plenty of information google'able, since it's not a novel thing.

If alignment is not easy I can think of other photographic techniques to determine the speed - for instance a CCD system and two brief (nsec) laser pulses to illuminate it twice at a fixed time period. That's quite advanced, would require a very well equipped lab.

RE: Panasonic Capacitor 1000uf, 200V, failure concern

Dear friend...just add a zener diode before giving connections to positive of capacitors.... There will not be players. As stated, they are assembling a table top sized court approximately 2 feet by 12 inches. There will be a ball that springs towards the basket. The sensors will have to sense the distance of the shot on the court and determine whether it was a 2 or 3 point shot. A sensor near the basket will tally the score. The facts are we don't know what kind of sensors we would need to purchase for the boys to program in order to execute. Could you assist in the appropriate direction with the type of sensors needed and an app that would assist with this project? Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks!

RE: Ask me questions about Sensors

Can u suggest me those places where i culd get a reasonable answer to my question

Ask me questions about Sensors

Do you have questions about pressure, motion, passive infrared and light sensors?
