The TE Solderless LED Holder, Type Z32, is a small, low profile, circular LED holder that provides a quick and easy solderless connection to the Sharp Mini Zenigata LED chip on board array family. TE Solderless LED Sockets allow the direct attachment of LEDs to a heat sink using standard screws instead of soldering. The TE Solderless LED Socket, Type SMIZ is a quick termination connector system for use with the Sharp Mini Zenigata LED. This two piece connector assembly features the TE poke-in wire termination for 24 AWG wire.
Termination to the Mini Zenigata LED is simplified with locating features that position the LED into the socket during the assembly process. This socket allows the LED to be directly attached to the heatsink using two standard (M2) screws.

The new Sealed CPC using UL F1-rated resin is ideal for UV resistance in outdoor applications. The UL F1 rating meets industry standards for long-term UV exposure, making the housings suitable for outside applications where parts are subject to frequent or extended periods of exposure to sun light. The new CPC is sealed to IP67 with no additional enclosure needed to protect the mated connector from water exposure, making it easier to install and lowering the cost of installation. The circular configuration requires less space than a rectangular-style connector with an equal number of contacts for an efficient use of space on your equipment.
Receptacle and plug housings accept Type III+ signal contacts and/or AMP POWERBAND (size 8) contacts. The housings come in three series designed to handle standard signal, power with current up to 50A per contact and combinations of signal and power in the same housing. All housing variations include sealing to IP67. Mounting options include panel mount, free-hanging and wire-to-board.

Economy Power 2.5 (EP 2.5) is a new type of single-row crimp connector system. EP 2.5 comprises of new plug housings, contacts, and headers, based on a .100” centerline (2.5 mm pitch), which makes it a very compact solution.
As good handling properties are essential for such a compact connector to achieve a correct and reliable interconnection during assembly, EP 2.5 housings and contacts (terminals) were designed to help the workers on the shop floor with their manual tasks. The low-insertion force terminals, for instance, have an asymmetrically shape which means that they can only be loaded in the housing’s cavity in the correct way.
This type of tactile feedback works even under adverse shop-floor conditions with noise and distraction.
EP 2.5 connector halves are available with 2 to 20 positions. This high number can be utilized to integrate up to 20 discrete wires with 26 to 22 AWG size into a single PC board section of roughly two inches length. As board space is increasingly often at a premium, the EP 2.5 interconnection system offers ideal conditions for contacting densely packed small boards. EP 2.5 connectors are intermateable with similar products in the market to facilitate simple retrofitting.
