TE Connectivity‘s Heavy Duty Connectors

General Overview of Heavy Duty Connectors

TE has been producing Heavy Duty Connectors (HDC) for over 60 years. The portfolio includes one of the very best

in quality and sustainability, helping you to reduce go-to-market time.

Featuring a modular design, TE HDCs fit perfectly in our one-piece frame, to make installation more convenient and

time-saving. Moreover, the docking frame allows for blind mating in spaces with limited visibility and offers direct

access, for easier installation, when compared to more traditional solutions.

With up to 48 pins in a single module, TE’s HDCs provide one of the highest density in the market for maximum

space saving in the application.

TE HDCs are available with low minimum order quantities and are fully backed by TE’s expert engineering support

in all regions.

Introducing UV-Resistant Sealed Circular Plastic Connectors (CPC)

fanny0532 — Wed, 04 Feb 2015 20:09:07 GMT

The new Sealed Circular Plastic Connector (CPS) using UL F1-rated resin is ideal for UV resistance in outdoor applications. The UL F1 rating meets industry standards for long-term UV exposure, making the housings suitable for outside applications where parts are subject to frequent or extended periods of exposure to sunlight. The new CPC is sealed to IP67 with no additional enclosure needed to protect the mated connector from water exposure, making it easier to install and lowering the cost of installation. The circular configuration requires less space than a rectangular-style connector with an equal number of contacts for an efficient use of space on your equipment.

Spring Fingers Quick Reference Guide[1]

fanny0532 — Wed, 04 Feb 2015 20:06:17 GMT

Spring fingers (also known as shield fingers, grounding springs or universal ground contacts) are used in almost every small printed circuit board application. A spring finger is a single contact, surface mountable, internal connector. Read about product features, benefits and applications in the following Quick Reference Guide.

QSFP+ Connectors and Cages

fanny0532 — Wed, 04 Feb 2015 19:59:42 GMT

TE Connectivity offers PARALIGHT active optical QSFP+ cable assemblies, which eliminate the need for a separate transceiver and optical interface. The QSFP+ direct attach copper cable assemblies are a high-speed and cost-effective alternative to fiber optics in short-reach 10Gb Ethernet and 14Gb Infini- Band FDR applications. These assemblies enable hardware OEMs and data center operators to achieve higher port density and configurability at a low cost while reducing the power requirement.

SlimSeal SSL Connector

fanny0532 — Wed, 04 Feb 2015 19:55:36 GMT

TE Connectivity's SlimSeal SSL connectors are low profile, single row connectors developed for indoor and outdoor LED lighting applications. These connectors provide low power, sealed solutions for free hanging, wire-to-wire interconnects and for robust, stable electrical and mechanical wire-to-board connections used in solid state lighting.

.050 Centerline Micro-MaTch Connector Series Quick Reference Guide

fanny0532 — Wed, 04 Feb 2015 16:28:59 GMT

The TE Connectivity (TE) Micro-MaTch connector family, with its contact spacing of 1.27mm, offers a variety of wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. The Micro-MaTch contact helps prevent fretting corrosion, the traditional failure mode in tin-plated connections. Relative movements caused by vibrations/thermal expansion between male and female contacts are absorbed by an additional positioning spring in the female part. By preventing movements on the contact spot, a gas tight connection can make the Micro-MaTch contact spring system fretting corrosion resistant.
