The Power Triple Lock connector system has been developed for improved power and signal applications.

The Power Triple Lock connector system has many added customer benefits for performance assurance including 3 in 1 reliability, 4 keying/color options, and 3 housing materials with high temperature material standing up to 150°C temperature.

The Power Triple Lock connector system is available in three levels of housing materials with keying/color code to prevent mis-mating on the assembly line: Standard 105°C - Natural, Purple, Blue, Yellow; High temperature up to 150°C – Light Gray; and Glow wire – Dark Gray, Brown, Green, Orange.

Key Features

Audible ‘lock’ latch provides positive feedback when Cap & Plug are mated, while the ribs surrounding the latch prevent wires from becoming snagged underneath the latch.
Optional Connector Position Assurance (CPA) ensures that once engaged the Power Triple Lock connector system cannot be mistakenly disengaged
Optional Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) ensures that contacts are fully seated within the housing and provides an added measure against contact backout

Upgrading current backplane architectures from existing to higher performance designs is a continual challenge in the interconnect industry. We are addressing this issue with its Z-PACK HM-Zd connector family with the introduction of the Z-PACK HM-Zd Plus connector. The new Z-PACK HM-Zd Plus product is ideally suited to meet next generation AdvancedTCA designs.

The Z-PACK HM-Zd Plus connector is fully compatible with existing Z-PACK HM-Zd connectors, but offers an increase in data rate performance to 15 - 20 Gb/s. Enabling this performance upgrade are a reduction in connector and pcb footprint crosstalk, tighter impedance control, reduction of intra pair skew and an improvement in the insertion loss characteristics. All of this is achieved in a form factor that is identical to the current industry standard version and therefore fully backward compatible with existing legacy equipment in the field today.

As exemplified by the Z-PACK HM-Zd Plus connector development effort, we are committed to meeting customer needs as requirements for increased interconnect performance intensify, not only with brand new, state-of-the-art designs but with enhanced versions of existing connector families as well.

The AMP CT connectors are a miniature wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect solution.

The AMP CT connector series has proven performance in its harness making capability. A variety

of harness-making machines are available ranging from hand tools for low volume production to

high-speed automatic crimping machines for medium to high volume productions. AMP high-speed

automatic crimping machines are easy to operate, eliminating the need for tedious work of changing

parts inside the equipment to adapt to changes in harness styles. Two types of housings are available,

including Crimp and Mass Terminated (MT), which are preloaded with insulation displacement

contacts. The box or shrouded headers are highly resistant to scooping at mating/unmating.

Grace Inertia Connectors offer a .137” [3.5 mm] centerline line pitch which uses an inertia locking mechanism and standard locking which operate simultaneously to prevent semi-mating from occurring. The connector will not allow electrical contact until the connector is fully locked-on and therefore supports secure mating operation even in difficult environments.

This product is excellent for use in large-sized household electrical appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines and dispensers. Moreover, the minimum 3.5 mm pitch satisfies the requirement of a compact connector while allowing wire as large as 18 AWG [.963 mm²]. The GIC connector is rated for 300 VAC with a 7 A contact rating. Terminal Position Assurance allows for the proper positioning of contacts and will assure that they will not back out of the housing. The TPA option is available for GIC.

TE Connectivity's (TE) Economy Power (EP) wire-to-board connector family is widely used for power circuit applications. Based on the proven EP version, the new and advanced EP II and EP 2.5 lines offer additional benefits.

EP II connectors are based on a .156" [3.96mm] pitch and are rated for 600VAC at up to 11A and thus offer potential for a larger range of applications along with 22-18 AWG [.321-.963 mm²] wire size. Up to 12-positions make it an ideal product family for delivering power to your circuit board.

The new EP 2.5 family is a compact version based on a .098" [2.5mm] pitch and is rated for 250VAC at up to an industry-leading 4.5A. With a 26 to 20 AWG [.121-.601 mm²] wire size, and up to 20-positions, EP 2.5 is ideally suited to deliver power to a board when space is at a premium.

Both EP II and EP 2.5 connectors offer two levels of mechanical and electrical reliability: A true locking latch prevents the plug housing and post header from vibrating apart, while an optional Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) retainer device helps assure the terminal is fully seated within its housing. Finally, both families offer a broad range of interconnects, including vertical, shrouded, and right angle headers along with resin materials that are offered in various colors and meet your glow wire requirements.

Circular Plastic Connectors (CPC) offer a rugged, reliable connector system suitable for a wide range of applications. The circular configuration provides designers with an efficient use of real estate and the mounting options include panel mount, free-hanging and wire-to-board. Receptacle and plug housings accept Type III+ or Size 20 signal contacts, Type XII power contacts or AMP POWERBAND (size 8) contacts.

The housings come in six series designed to handle standard and high density signal, power with current up to 50A per contact and combinations of signal and power in the same housing. Sealing to IP67 is also offered in several configurations. The CPC line includes accessories to complete the cable or panel assembly process such as cable clamps and boots, keying plugs, and sealing caps.

CPC is UL Recognized (File No. E28476) and CSA Certified (File No. LR 7189).

The Industrial Ethernet IP 65/67 Field Installation RJ-45 Push-Pull connector from TE Connectivity (TE) offers a sealed design for use in Industrial Ethernet applications and is equipped with a robust termination technology that allows a timesaving and flexible field installation without any special tool.

This is designed for use in harsh environments and also for indoor and outdoor application usage. The connector features a comfortable Push-Pull mechanism which ensures a secure, sealed interconnection and enables the connector to withstand severe shocks and vibrations.

Meeting TIA/EIA 568 Category 5e requirements, the RJ45 push-pull connector also complies with the IEC61076-3-117 - Variant 14 standard.

With the field installation RJ-45 Modular Plug Series, TE presents a high performance RJ-45 connector for Fast and Gigabit Ethernet This RJ-45 modular plug is capable of a data transmission rate of 100 Mbit/s (4 pos.) up to 1000 Mbit/s (8 pos.). The RJ-45 Plug is equipped with a fast termination technology, utilizing the company's "common core" design in the RJ-45 Modular Plug Series, the product can be applied in the field. This significantly reduces installation time and costs.

This fast termination technology is used in all field installable connector series' of TE, including IP20, ODVA, push-pull and HTS connectors.

SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) I/O Products support the hot swap of various fiber optic and copper based transceivers and cable assemblies into host equipment. SFP products provide a shielded port for Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and InfiniBand switches, hubs and host bus adapters. Designs are based on the industry standard SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), of which TE Connectivity (TE) was a founding member.

TE offers SFP cages in single port and multi-port designs for added density. Chassis grounds are achieved through EMI springs at the bezel interface and ensure EMI containment. The SFP board mount connector is a 20 position interface, with surface mount termination or press-fit when integrated into a one-piece cage/connector assembly.

Other options include integrated lightpipes for port indicators and riding heatsinks for improved thermal management.

The TE Connectivity RJ point five connector system is a next generation Ethernet link that offers a higher density cabling solution compared to traditional Ethernet links. The system is well suited for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) who desire a lower cost per port while maintaining the convenience of a single connector per channel. With port spacing on a 7mm centerline, the RJ point five connector system occupies half the space of a RJ45 Ethernet link.

Along with the high density receptacle, we also offer the mating cable assembly, as well as cable management solutions for single box and rack configurations. The cable assembly was redesigned to achieve superior electrical performance by eliminating the cross over. Additionally, the latching feature supports an easy-to-use lanyard that will facilitate up to 96 ports on a single line card.

The density of the receptacle face allows the light from the LEDs to be transferred out through the cable boot, bringing the port indicator light closer to the end user.
