I would let the first time user to view a sine wave first, and postpone adjusting compensation to a later time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would put Autoset at the center for the first experience.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It might be good to mention to hit the&amp;nbsp;Default Setup button first, in case there&amp;#39;s some complex setup already on the instrument.&lt;/p&gt;
