What is a Spectrogram
A spectrogram is a graphic that shows the viewer how the frequency domain content (spectral content) of a signal or signals is changing or progressing over time.
With a spectrum trace, that would be very difficult to see or recognize. With the spectrogram, you can see the blotches or lines of color even for weak signals, and your eye will see that changing footprint over time, to begin to understand what could be causing it in the circuit.
