Very interesting seeing the X-ray images. How are the ferrites made? Is the ferrite powder applied around the coil and then fired?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I had assumed ferrite beads were literally beads (i.e. with holes and then the wire was inserted and metal caps placed on the ends.
