The installation went pretty smooth. I was able to access the shell on my pi. The install changed the user to dataplicity and when I use sudo I cant figure out the password. Tried the password mentioned at the end of the installation, password for the login on the site plus some others, and nothing. After I reboot the pi, I could not get the GUI, just a blinking cursor on the top left corner. Tried reboot holding shift... same thing. I can still access the pi shell on the dataplicity site, but not knowing the sudo password I can't do anything. You should have a help page or forum in order to get feedback from users. Also an uninstall script would be nice. I don want to discourage you from this project, which I thing is good - with some more functionality... Check out Blynk - it is a similar idea [View:/resized-image/__size/16x16/__key/commentfiles/f7d226abd59f475c9d224a79e3f0ec07-99ffe363-dfe6-4436-b316-fb46e16dadf6/6470.contentimage_5F00_1.png:16:16]

RE: System to remotely control and monitor Raspberry Pis without needing VPN, static IP or DynDNS.
